About us
Space Alma is a Space RF Observation startup building the capability to listen to and geolocate radio frequency emitters on Earth from space. Our initial target market is dark vessel detection in the maritime domain, giving customers sovereignty, monitoring visibility, security, and intelligence over their waters.
We are developing a payload to geolocate emitters from space. Using a microsatellite platform (6-12U), acquiring and processing signals on board, across a wide frequency range (initially 2-12 GHz) to geolocate emitters with precision (1-5 km). Join us at the ground floor of building this technology from scratch.
We need
- Embedded Development Expertise
- FPGA Programming
- RF Front-End PCB design and testing
- Experience with Firmware, OS, Drivers, RTOS
- Programming experience C/C++, VHDL/Verilog, Python
- Proficiency using EDA tools Altium, Vivado, Simulation software
- RF/Microwave Engineering
- Signal Processing Algorithms
Who we are looking for
We are looking for talented engineers, who are driven, have a passion for the work we are doing, and are willing to learn alongside us. Ideally they can work autonomously, with little instruction, and are excited about HW design and programming, as well as Space applications.
